The Coca-Cola Heritage Center safeguards over one million archival records, tracing the brand’s journey from its founding in 1886 to becoming one of the most iconic names in history. This vast archive encompasses advertising campaigns, vintage commercials, original artworks, packaging, signage, legal documents, and more, each piece preserving the rich story of Coca-Cola’s evolution and global impact.

Coca-Cola’s private digital platform was designed to do more than just preserve heritage and enhance data: it is also a powerful resource for global staff and collaborators. A key feature of the platform is a ‘cart’ system, enabling users worldwide to seamlessly request legal permission to use digital reproductions for both internal and external purposes. This ensures that Coca-Cola’s rich history remains both protected and accessible, supporting the brand’s storytelling and marketing efforts at a global scale.

With usability at the forefront, we designed multiple narrative-driven pathways for exploring Coca-Cola’s vast archive, making discovery intuitive and engaging. We also designed dynamic data visualisations, allowing users to grasp the breadth and depth of the collection at a glance. This approach transforms a complex archive into an immersive storytelling experience.
