To celebrate the opening of the new World Gallery at our client the Horniman Museum and Gardens, Keepthinking have created some brand new website features. The main update was an inteactive map, but our work also included an innovative reorganisation of the catalogue and some additional search filters.
Users can now explore the collections through clearly signposted categories of: Objects, Subjects, Places, and People; as well as all the expanded filters that were there before. In addition, the Anthropology pages now allow a visitor to browse the collections by region, exploring objects via a map. The extensive breadth of the Horniman’s collections, and the sheer range of objects, are made easy to browse and explore online.
For more information about the project, visit our dedicated project page; and go here if you would like to know more about our project process or about Qi. Or, you could visit the Horniman Museum and Gardens (in person or online!).
